Mrs. Maugh

Dear Parents,

I know it has been a wild and crazy end to the school year. I want to say that I truly enjoyed teaching each and every one of your children. Our last Zoom class was absolutely wonderful seeing everyone dressed up like Egyptians and all the enthusiasm to share for our final show and tell.  I appreciate all of the support that all of you parents gave during the remote learning.
According to the message sent out by the administration regarding the final carpool drop off/pick up we can't have any worksheets or workbooks returned per the health guidelines.  So....I will not be collecting any work.  I will just put what I have to give you in the trunk of your car. I am looking forward to seeing all of you so I can say good-bye in person.  If for some reason you are not able to come, I wish you the best and hope you have a wonderful summer! Hopefully, I will see all of you in the fall.

Stay healthy and safe!

Mrs. Maugh

Below are a few important dates:

Friday, May 15th:  This is the last day of learning.  We gave you packets to last another week but it has been decided that in order to facilitate the return of chrome books (older grades), and library books that school would end on this day.  The packets that are for next week you can choose whether or not you want to complete them.  They are review and are not required.

Monday, May 18th:  Last carpool lane drop off from 9:00-11:00 or 12:00-2:00.  Please return all library books.  We will be handing out the rest of the children's items that are still left in the classroom. Please do not return any of the worksheets or the writing journal.  We can not accept any work back from students per the health guidelines.

Reminders for School:

Please remember school starts at 8:13 a.m. and ends at 3:20 p.m.

Change of clothes-accidents of one kind or another can happen.

Water bottles that are easy to open, do not leak, and fit in the K-1 sinks to be easily filled.

LABEL-water bottles, lunch boxes, jackets, coats, etc….otherwise “Lost and Found” grows rapidly.

We have an afternoon snack time but it is short, so easy, quick, healthy snacks, and no colored drinks.

Watch the weather and come to school prepared.

Drop-off and Pick-up will get better once everyone understands the flow.
